7. How do I install Analytics Dashboard?

You can install Analytics Dashboard like any other extension. If you can't find the module in the module manager, make sure you that you selected "Administrator" from the drop down instead of "Site". Finally, put it in the "cpanel" module postion for the best results.

8. How do I register my website at Google?

Registration website: https://code.google.com/apis/console/

Click on "Services" and then set the Analytics API to "On" with the slider.

Now click on "API Access" and then on "Create OAuth 2.0 client ID...". For product name chose your website name.

Field's Comments:

  • Application type: Web application
  • Your website or hostname: website url
  • Now click on "Create client ID
  • Click on "Edit settings..." for the just created client ID
  • Authorized Redirects URIs: See the Analytics Dashboard module parameters (Redirect URI), copy and paste this value
  • Go to the Analytics Dashboard module parameters and copy the Client ID and the Client secret from the Google API Console site to your module parameters
  • Save your module parameters
  • Click on "Sign in with Google" (this is a link in the module parameters
  • Authorize your website to access your Google Analytics data
  • Save your module parameters
  • Last step: select the profile you want to save the module parameters from.

9. How do I solve the 403 error after I click sign in?

If you have Admin Tools installed chances are that you run into a 403 error when you try to sign in with Google. To solve this issue add the following line to your .htaccess file.
